This video looks at the two main measures of spread which we use in Mathematics. The first is the Range, which we have already seen in a previous video,. We look at why the range is not a good measure of spread when there are outliers. We then move onto look at the Interquartile Range (IQR) which is a much better way to look at how far out the data is spread by looking at the middle 50% of the data. This video is part of the Year 8 Mathematics course and even talks about Vegemite!
