Investigating relationships between two numerical variables

Year 11

This is another in the series looking at data for the General Maths Units 1 and 2 course. Having looked at how we can describe two variables on a scatter plot (or graph) we now look at how we can take raw data and turn it into a scatter plot. I look at how you can do it by hand and then how to use the CAS (it is a CAS course after all!). There are lots of worked examples with clear and easy to understand examples.
