About this lesson
This video is part of the Year 12 Further Maths course and looks at the general equation of a straight line. In a previous lesson we looked at how to find the gradient of a straight line. Once we know the gradient, we only need to know one coordinate and we can find the relationship to find the rest of the points on the line. This relationship is called the equation of a straight line. I look at a number of examples and explain them using easy to understand and clear theory.
