This video looks at the work relating to reciprocal circular functions forming part of the Units 3 and 4 Specialist Mathematics course here in Australia (but applicable throughout the world). Looking at how we can draw the graphs of sec, cosec and cot functions using the base functions of sin, cosine and tan, I then look at forming two new trigonometric identities before using them to express one thing as another. I then use a number of worked examples to show how we can use the reciprocal circular functions to find various things. All explained in an easy to understand way.
