This video is part of the Year 12 General Maths VCE course dealing with investigating data distributions series and looks at Measures of centre and spread. There are two measures of centre and lots of measures of spread. I take a look at how to find the mean and median from raw data using by hand methods and the CAS. I look at finding the interquartile range, range and standard deviation explaining what each of these are and why it is important. I use lots of worked examples to explain the theory in an easy to understand way.
