This video continues to look at the topics which are included in Geometric Reasoning as part of the Year 8 course. Having taken some time to look at congruence, I now move onto the ideas of similarity. I look at the difference between an original shape and its image. I then look at how we can look at side lengths and angles to visually see if two shapes are similar. The ideas of scale factor enlargement are then covered before using some examples to show how the theory is applied.
