What's normal any more?! Well ... something which is normal and has always been is the Standard Normal Distribution! Nothing like a cheesy pun to start things off. This video takes a look at what the Normal Distribution is. It starts by looking at the standard normal distribution and then, using lots of transformations (Dilations and Translations) looks at how we can map data with different means and standard deviations back to the Standard Normal Distribution The video finishes with a look at a possible exam question which uses the highest point of a normal distribution to help us find the mean and standard deviation of the data which created the curve, More Normal in one day than anyone could cope with!
