Volume of prisms and cylinders
Measurement and introduction to Pythagoras' theorem
Year 8
Imagine making a box and wanting to fill it with chocolate but not knowing how much chocolate to fill it with. This would seem like a pretty large problem to have. Not if you know how to find Volumes of Rectangular Prisms and Cylinders. This video lets me (once again) look at all the things I love in life. Maths, chocolate and ... Jelly Tots!!!! I look at how to find the volumes of prisms and cylinders using lots of different methods. Areas of cross sections are also covered as well as doing Mathematics both forwards and backwards.
