About Lesson

Continuing looking at Variation (forming part of the Year 11 General Maths course), this video builds on the work from the previous videos and looks at how we can transform data. Not all data will present in a nice straight line. Much of it will be curved. Being able to transform data which is curved, into a straight line, is helpful as we can then find a relationship between the two original data values. This video looks at using the squared transformation and the reciprocal transformation. There are a number of worked examples all explained in an easy to understand way.
