This video introduces all the work which will be covered in Chapter 6 of the Cambridge Further Maths Units 3 and 4 course on Data Transformation. Looking at the Circle of Transformations it shows that there are a number of ways of turning non-linear data into linear data to allow us to perform a regression analysis. We can certainly get the least squares regression line. A short introduction leads into 3 other videos which show how to perform a squared, log and reciprocal transformation.
