MaffsGuru doesn't record just any maths videos. They’re clear, engaging, and designed to help you actually understand — not just memorise and hope for the best..
I would be really grateful if you can support the work I do by subscribing to my YouTube Channel. It really just tells me that people are watching and appreciating the content.
Want to skip to the best bits? Gain access to chapters by taking out a (very reasonable and cheap!) one year plan.
There are currently no lesson notes at this time to download. I add new content every week.
These are other videos in the same section of this course.
This video looks at the two main measures of spread which we use in Mathematics. The first is the Range, which we have already seen in a previous video,. We look at why the range is not a good measure of spread when there are outliers. We then move onto look at the Interquartile Range (IQR) which is a much better way to look at how far out the data is spread by looking at the middle 50% of the data. This video is part of the Year 8 Mathematics course and even talks about Vegemite!
