Have you ever wondered why we need Scientific Notation? What it's used for? How to convert numbers from and to Scientific Notation? No?! Me either really, but I thought I'd take the time to explain what they are and what they are used for. This is part of the Year 9 Maths Series on Index Numbers and Surds. It is explained using my unique sense of humour and with lots of worked examples. There is even a section extending you!

There are no current errors with this video ... phew!
