About Lesson
This video looks at the theory behind finding the equations of straight lines. It's part of the Methods 1 and 2 course but relevant to all countries and Mathematics syllabi. It does this through using theory and examples. The main things covered in the lesson are:
Know the many forms we can write an equation of a straight line
Gradient intercept form
Intercept form
Point gradient form
Know how to find the equation of a line given certain conditions
