About Lesson

This video, as part of the Year 11 Mathematical Methods (Units 1 and 2) course, takes a look at what the Signed Area is when compared to the total area under a curve. I look at how to use a sine curve to demonstrate the difference between a total area and signed area and how you can use the CAS to find both (including using the Modulus Function). There are a lot of worked examples who frame the theory and they are all explained in an easy to understand way.
