This is another video in the Matrices series for the Year 11 General Maths (VCE) Units 1 and 2 course. Matrices have a very real use and one of those is to help computers model road and communication networks. In doing so, some really amazing Mathematics and applications can take place. For this video I look at how we can model road networks and communication networks. I show how we can describe a road network as a matrix. I then move onto the idea of one-step and two-step communication networks. I use examples to explain the theory in an easy to understand way.
