This video looks at how we can apply quadratic equations to real world situations. These are the questions which appear at the end of Maths exams and are there to really test your understanding (and literacy!). I look at the common types of questions which are generally asked at a Year 9 level and walk you through how to structure and solve the quadratic equation. I also look at the tricks which are employed. Whilst I can't do all the examples in the world, this video should give you enough to be able to smash most of the common types of questions. As usual, the video is explained in an easy to understand way with a smattering of humour!
