PricingThis video is the next in the series for the Year 12 General Mathematics course looking at Matrices. This video looks at Matrix Inverse, the Determinant and Matrix Equations. I look at what the inverse of a matrix is and how you can find it using both pencil and paper methods and a CAS. As we only need to find 2 by 2 matrices by hand, this is a relatively simple process. I also look at what the determinant of a matrix is and what information it gives us. I finally look at matrix algebra and matrix equations. These are really important and I have seen them used over and over again. There are lots of worked examples (thanks to Cambridge University Press) and the theory is explained in an easy to understand way - with humour of course!
