This video looks at the further symmetry properties of circular functions and how we can form the Pythagorean Identity using the Unit Circles. Part of the series relating to Circular Functions for the Year 11 (VCE) Units 1 and 2 Mathematical Methods course, I take a look at how we can find angles either side of pi on 2 in the unit circle. I then use concrete examples to demonstrate how to use the formulas. I also show how we can find the Pythagorean Identity and then use it in some worked examples. All theory is explained in an easy to understand way to help you smash maths.
